evertide didn't wanted to insult anyone here with that ICON <-link. I think it's more like a joke, saying: Ha, Your avatars are all moving, and mine's not! :P (Individuality rocks!)
I'm sure evetide could get an animated avatar if whised so, but choose not to...yet. As evil/nice i am, i created a simple thing as a gift for evetide: A .gif gift! Wow! That joke was lame.
I didn't plan on insulting evertide either...Just showing some ironic turn on that funny avatar. Hope the joke factor of this is as mild, as the avatar itself! XD

A question of perspective...If i choose a fixed point then my avatar does changes dimensional location to it. Also Opera browser allows me to drag any picture around, and as so my avatar location changes as my whim wants it.

Mmmh, about avatars... I don't care if is animated or static, the most important thing, it's to show a funny/original image of yourself.
Personally, I love avatars with endless loop... I think they have hypnotic powers as the mine
