In a way I can't explain this sounds really refreshing and like a new take on your "older" pieces.
From 0:50 to 1:17 there're occasional low key effects on the left channel. I don't know how they were made, but the add a very subtle foreboding mood to this part.
The beginning motif always reminds me a bit of the old Dreamworks sound logo.
