II - why have my character drawn as a nazi if i dont personally believe it? ...lots of ppl here like pictures of drawn doggie dick even if they wouldnt do it IRL. ..i just like it.
III - naziism is not a personal kink/fetish of mine: i just dig the uniform and have an interest in history.
IIIa - i can understand how some people could have a nazi and/or uniform fetish, either from nationalistic pride, hatred of certain ethnic groups, or just the shere power to have the ability to dominate another person/group of people. Power in and of itself can be a powerful aphordisiac. ...and some ppl just like men in uniform. ;p

just because someone draws something, it doesn't mean they condone it. someone could draw non con yiff, but that doesnt mean they promote it. fantasy kinda thing, fetish, you know? like with nazis the uniform is known for looking quite good, the ss uniform i think? plus the position of power of a nazi might turn someone on, there are many things

yeah i've really not heard of people who actually believe in that, except for that small ass majority of neonazis who rly arent a threat. i'm pretty sure what you're thinking of is the ppl that some liberals and sjws label nazi bc they dont like something they said lol

It's just a uniform that's stylized after the WWII era, yes while it is heavily based from the Nazi SS uniforms of that time,
I did take care to replace all the sensitive symbols: The swastika is a kitty paw, the skull on the hat was cartoonified and has hearts instead of crossbones,
even the epaulette says 'NIN' because that's my friend's favorite band xD (Nine Inch Nails, in case you didn't know the abbreviation)
I would also hope the pink background and chillax smoking of the cigarette helps people realize that this is just a stylized art piece and not pushing any ideals or agendas.

You're welcome! You did an great job on the uniform and overall look of everything <3 and good for you! It's a bit rare these days finding people who aren't super afraid of offending others with concepts in art pieces. I get offended by certain things easily but it doesn't mean others shouldn't be allowed to draw their fictional characters in those ways. I just ignore the piece and move on. (the problem for me is usually alcohol for since i've had bad experiences around it)

I bought a poster from an artist online a few months ago and the uniform the anthropomorphic dog is wearing is very "Nazi-esk" Even my neighbor commented on it once, and agreed that the uniforms were one of the best looking and attractive of all time, and just because you like the attire, doesn't mean you agree with what they stood for. I in no way condone the killing of anyone, especially genocide. It would be insensitive to wear one to the holocaust museum or any monuments. But depicted in art? Come on that's just too sensitive imo.

It is rare, and unfortunately so. I've always been impressed with the furry community about their open mindedness esp in regards to art. I suppose there will always be those few tho.... if they get this butthurt about this very very very very vanilla image, I'd love/hate to see how they react to something that's actually offensive. (like the literal definition of offensive, not just kids getting triggered over things they know nothing about or assume)
And honestly I don't even want to remove half the comments, because I do respect peoples opinions and discussions. As someone who actually has Autism but doesn't care about the controversy surrounding this art, or other art like it, I'm disappointed to continue seeing claims of Autism used as a smear against others, since I can't change my diagnosis and makes me feel like I'm subhuman or something. Since many Autistic people tend to have higher than average IQs, the more relevant insult would be 'retarded' anyway, though calling someone a special snowflake is pretty derogatory and bullying behavior either way.
It's not okay to be cruel to others, dude. It's not funny, it doesn't make you cool, and you wouldn't like it if I had an idea of what made you feel insecure and attacked that topic. You are a shit person, but so am I, no one is better than anyone else, which means no one should be bullying others as if they have an inherent right to do such a thing. I knew it was testy/risky but part of being an artist is being able to express yourself and push boundaries. If I refused to post something I drew for fear of offending anyone, my entire gallery would be empty!!
Bottom line, this is a fetish piece and isn't depicting violence or rape or half the other stuff I find hard to look at on this website that others deem acceptable.

Anyone who is aware of the current political climate involving this type of imagery who chooses to commission it anyway could be accused of trolling or attention-seeking behavior. If you wanted to explain what it is about the uniform that you enjoy to show others you aren't in solidarity with what it stood for 70ish years ago, that would be one thing. Instead, you were probably hoping on some level to get drama, and so congratulations.

It wasn't about winning, only pointing out how on some level you knew this was going to get negative attention and were probably hoping for it, contrary to original comment to the artist in this submission.
That being said, your fursona avatar is cute, and I have nothing against this picture, though I am so horrified by things like the Holocaust (which functioned as a 9/11 for the whole world and continues to have the same psychologically crippling impact even today for those who don't deny it happened) I'd prefer not to associate symbolism tied to that event with the cute idealized animal-person version of me.

there's a difference between a nazi uniform.. and a nazi uniform sporting a thinly disguised swastika. again, if you want to show this, fine, not my cup of tea, but whatever. the part that worries me is that you have the gall to claim not to be into it while submitting such a piece. assume someone posted a pic with a char with a speach bubble saying "jews are untermenschen and must be destroyed" and the piece was not in any way painting the person as less than perfect. would you believe the artist if her claimed to not be, at all, for such a sentiment?

Ghost, this is my view, tho the Nazis themselves were a terriable group of people, they had one of the greatest and well maintained uniforms of any military. Thier uniforms were always in pristine condition and the outfits themselves inspired respect and confidence. The uniform radiates power and discipline which is probly why its so enthralling, I don't think there really was anyone that wore it and you thought to yourself "that guy looks like a wimp" .
