Physical Appearance: Riposte has a slender but muscular figure like that of an Olympic gymnast with a c-class bust. She has a pair of wings that she keeps folded at her back, except when in use. Her feathers are an iridescent emerald, with a sparkling rose-pink throat and face with a long black bill at the center. Her hair is always styled short for a tactical advantage.

Powers:

•Psychic Sword Constructs- Riposte can generate swords made of psychic energy that can cut through just about anything and can control them with her mind. She can also cause the swords to emit slashes of psychic energy with varying intensities. Riposte can also cause her psychic blades to phase through solid matter at will this can allow her to hold a furman hostage or use as surprise attacks.

•Psionic Enhanced Athleticism and Speed- Using psychic energy Riposte can enhance her speed, agility and overall athleticism allowing her to be an intermediate speedster as well as expert level athletic combat.

•Panmnesia-Riposte’s psionic abilities also enhance her mind to a certain extent to give her muscle memory and the ability to remember absolutely everything she thinks, feels, encounters, and experiences.

•Body Language Analysis- Years of training have given Riposte the ability to intuitively read others' body language and anticipate their actions.

Strengths:

•She is a champion level fencer and a dangerous duelist.

•She has a very good memory so it doesn’t take her long to learn new fencing moves.

•She is a good tactician and is skilled at predicting an opponent’s moves.

•She can think in multiple dimensions which can allow her to fight multiple opponents at once.

Weaknesses:

•She can only generate up to two blades at once, four if she sacrifices her psionic speed channels her powers to her sword play. Generating and controlling any more swords would require too much concentration and leaves her vulnerable, which puts too much mental strain on her mind.

•Energy slashes must be used sparingly because the attacks can leave Riposte drained if used too many times in one day.

•Many of Riposte’s feats such as, the phasing sword or the energy slash requires her full focus to prevent attacks from becoming lethal, one laps of concentration and the attacks become deadly.

•The strength and cutting power of Riposte blades is determined by her confidence, drive, determination and willpower. If any of that is shaken or she loses the belief that she can cut through something then the blades won’t be effective.

•Riposte must constantly train to maintain her current sword skills.

•Riposte is still vulnerable to things that can kill a regular furson.


Outfits: Verity, Fencing Trainer leather outfit with red fencing gloves. The vest is white with the Gym Brat insignia on her left breast, with steal buckles running down the front of the vest. Her leggings are red and of made of a flexible, durable and comfortable combination of leather and steel mesh.

Bio: Cecil doesn’t remember much about her life before the foster care system, from what little she knew, her parents were killed in a car accident and neither had any family to speak of, so she was taken into the foster care system. To survive the system, she always had her guard up and she did her best not to get to attached to fursons. She had no constancy, until one day while walking home she walked by a tv store, normally she would have just walked by but a show on a screen caught her attention, a fencing match, she couldn’t bring herself to look away, the graceful movements of the fighters and the clang of the rapiers entranced her. It was right then and there she decided that she wanted to be a fencer. That day she ran to the library and studied everything she could about fencing and sword play. She even researched the manual of some of the world’s best swordsmen: Paton Saber, Johannes Liechtenauer and M. Clery L’Adjutant. That night she returned late to her foster home and received a whooping for her tardiness but to her it was all worth it.

Since that moment Cecil devoted herself to fencing she would take any spare moment she had, go somewhere private, use whatever was on hand and practice. However, when she was fourteen she was transferred to a school with a fencing team and she tried out. She was one of the best fencers out there even with no formal training, she made the team and for once in a long time she Cecil felt that she was a part of family, she even made a best friend with a swift named Sarah. Those two were inseparable, that is, until high school senior year, when Cecil and Sarah signed up for fencing tournament, the grand prize was full scholarship to Alliance Fencing Academy one of the most prestigious sword fighting schools in the world their graduates were known for being Olympic champions.

On the day of the tournament the competition was fierce but Cecil and Sarah won their rounds until it came to the final match where the fight was between the two of them. As the referee signaled for them to start their swords clashed and the two swords woman fought with everything they had. Suddenly, Cecil’s sword broke and Sarah was about to make a finishing blow, when Cecil made a defensive position with her broken sword’s hilt and sword made of psychic energy manifested itself out of nowhere. The referee stopped the match and brought the two fencers before the judges who disqualified Cecil for illegal use of powers and declared Sarah the winner. Cecil ran to the locker room in sadness wondering what was going with her and why her sword broke after all she always maintained her sword properly.

However, there was one thing she knew she had to do, go to Sarah explain that she didn’t know about her abilities and wish her luck in the fencing school. But as she got ready to leave, Cecil noticed a strange bottle in Sarah’s things and picked it up. She recognized it from her science class, it was a slow acting acid that left a yellow residue as it ate away at what it dissolved. Cecil snatched up her broken blade and looked at the hilt and the residue on the bottle…they were a perfect match. Cecil couldn’t believe it Sarah had betrayed her. In a fit of rage she threw down the bottle and the sword hilt and raced out of the locker room to the fencing floor, upon seeing Sarah in crowd of fans she rad head long into Sarah tackling her to the floor and beat on her in blind rage. It took two security guards to get her off of Sarah, Cecil swore that she would get her back as they dragged out of the building and tossed out the back entrance.

Cecil banged at the door in rage, tears of heart break and anger streaming down her face. Then feeling a tap on her shoulder Cecil whirled around to see a black bear in fine suit. The introduced himself as a recruiter for the Gym Brats and he offered her a position in the organizations promising her to help her not only clear her name but to make her one of the best sword fighters the world had ever known. Cecil was hesitant at first but she realized that she had nothing to lose but so much to gain by joining, so she agreed and went with the black bear.


Personality:

•She is very overconfident, she’s a prodigy fencer and she knows and isn’t afraid to let others know it.

•Has a strong sense of honor and won’t fight opponents that are weaker or she considers beneath her or can’t fight back.

•She is extremely driven and competitive. Doesn’t underestimate an opponent because she wants to be the best.

•Is very loyal to her teammates and is very easy to work with.

•Riposte can be very guarded at times and will not always easily trust others.
