Here's a quick little bit of flash fiction (seriously, it's under 900 words) I whipped together to meet a theme. I can tell you that it has a transformation theme and that it takes place in The Future, but giving away more of the premise here would rob it of its charm... and it's a tiny short read anyhow. Enjoy!
(Note: This is my second try posting because FurAffinity is really stupid and doesn't know how to cope with all those crazy things like punctuation.)

The actual issue was that I used typographer's quotes (the curly ones) and proper en- and em-dashes, and FA is allergic to those or something because the result was peppered with little black "I don't know what character this is" diamonds. My surprise level is nil; this is the same site that will take a clean 4K PNG usericon and helpfully convert it into a 16K JPEG because life just isn't awesome without compression artifacts.
Fortunately, I know how to use my text editor's search-and-replace, so I have a special copy of the story file saved just for FurAffinity. Yes, it certainly is special.
Anyhow, thank you for reading! I haven't written more in this setting yet, but I'm very tempted. I did borrow much of the setting and one character (Alba) from some friends who were totally cool with it. If they make enough of a fuss, I'll link them here. *grin*

I ended up doing that too, for a slightly different reason. If you submit a .txt to FA, it'll parse any BBCode in the text. So if you're willing to tweak, you can have some formatting in your plaintext. I like that because I think that readership for text submissions drops off a lot if you make people hop out of the browser to Word/OpenOffice/PDF-reader-of-choice. Inline display makes people more likely to read.
