I thought it would be cool if Raquel gets a feral to ride. Since her shadow wings drain her strength and magic, and she eventually befriends a Feral that was stuck on earth for 2,000 plus years after his mother had died from humans long ago. As a scared young feral, he only lived off by snatching humans who came into his cave. Raquel goes with a team to find out what's happening and finds him. she gets pissed after the humans tried to harm him, knowing why he was like that. She then takes him and raises him, naming the feral Ythnal. Ythnal starts off as a 10ft baby feral but grows to be about 50ft at his shoulders. He sees Raquel as a mother and will protect her at any cost. His dark navy blue color allows great camouflage with the night sky and his type being camouflage works really well for Raquel, as he can hide when needed.
He's a big sweet heart and learns to love the people of Dracomere. Raquel rides Ythnal a lot, using him to get around the large world of Dracomere. As king Raquel allows him to hang around on the castle, her father had him away in a cave before as Ythnal would cause a ruckus on the castle. He's great at defending the castle when he gets bigger, as a lot of ferals will occasionally just land or attack the castle. It happens a lot with giant ferals just flying around. Raquel doesn't use a saddle or rope to ride him. She stands on his back and hold the spike, She'll yell at him where to go, but sometimes he goes where is best to protect Raquel. He knows his job: don't let mom get hurt. I imagine his roar kinda being like Godzillas. lol
Ferals are the wild animals in Dracomere. They can range from butterfly size to the biggest being almost 220ft tall. It's a very dangerous world to live in. Just like Dravika, they have types but don't always have powers. You know when it's a feral as they have four eyes instead of two.
