I'm still putting together what I've worked on over the past year. This is fairly recent, completed in May. This fursona belongs to Trax. He's a super awesome and pleasant client.
Oy. I don't have a good place to take good photos....
This is the first project I used my embroidery machine on. My husband got me an embroidery machine shortly before our move and it remained in its box for far far too long. I think I did pretty well. I have some experience running a variety of embroidery machines, but I hadn't digitized anything before. I learned how to make my own files which was very rewarding.
This guy was made on a polished version of the pattern I made the lynx plush on. Same base, but it was damaged in the move. I spent a little too long perfecting it. Developed shingles during the sculpture process (I may have mentioned I was under a lot of stress trying to keep my parents safe from themselves.) so I loss full use of my left hand for about a month. Ended up having to work to help my husband make ends meet... So this took me a while. I did meet the client's request to have the plush for a con in the UK. I like deadlines.
The bow was really fun. It has thin open celled foam inside for support. So do the ears. He features a real bell and faux fur accents. I hope the client truly loves him.
