Where does the idea of "tusked" gnolls come from? I'm only familiar with the original D&D Gnolls (anthropomorphic hyenas with a daemonic past), but some artists on FurAffinity draw them with this extra feature.

Nevertheless, gnolls with big guts are always fine with me! :)

It seems to be a standard exaggeration of carnivores -- basically, you enlarge the lower canines (because having the upper ones hang out looks more like a vampire) and have them sticking out of the muzzle in a "snaggle-toothed" fashion.
