The battle was going well at first! Our healer was keeping us safe and our paladin was tanking the chrono dragon's hits. We'd been getting barraged by time-effects like Slow, Stop, and Gravity but they were all minor irritants more than anything major. As the mage, I felt we were doing so well, I didn't even have to worry much about keeping to the back lines. Finally! The guild had set us up with an easy job, for once!
Our mistake, of course, was grouping up when the boss started using her desperation attacks. Every time mage, and even some black mages, know the usual variety of Slow/Stop spells... but we never thought to ask what the next stage of that line of magic might be.
"What the hell is Regress-aga?"
Much too late, the beam breath weapon swept across the party, leaving a bizarre haze in its wake! Oh my gosh, the... the paladin was...
I turned to run away, but not nearly fast enough! A plethora of status conditions consumed our character tabs! Our novelty character gave a cute little roar before he was Silenced and locked away. Some of our number was having trouble walking... toddling... crawling...
Think I was the only one who managed to get back to the adventuring guild. It was hard getting anyone to stop d'awwwing and take me seriously, much less get an audience with the guild leader! And it turns out, there's an age restriction to being a member.
Oh, I'm gonna have some WORDS with him!!!
...uhm... well... given a few years, that is!

This was such a cute, clever YCH that I had to join in. Myoti's art is gorgeous, and I always wanted to get something by Cameroo; his TFs are AWESOME! One thing I always love during species-change TFs is when the character retains elements of their old species. IE. if a bluejay turned into a wolf, he might still have bluejay markings or a few errant feathers here and there. For all five characters, that was definitely the case! Adorable little bunny-derg hatchling...! XD
