Cannot really follow you on that one, as reactive armor comes usually in the shape of small explosive packages covering the tanks passive main armor. It is designed to detonate when being hit with a projectile and thus eliminate or dampen the impact enough for the tank's main armor to soak it up, mostly so to counter the effect of shaped charges like HEAT ammunition or kinetic energy based stuff like regular AP ammunition.
However, in case of those explosive packages, you have a good chance of getting trough with tandem-shaped charges, and using specialized armor piercing like APFSDS (Armor Piercing Fin-Stabilized Discarding Sabot) renders this kind of protection almost useless.
I think what you are on about is active protection, better known as the "hard kill" or trophy system concept of intercepting an incoming projectile. Could be that our shark-tank over here has such a system installed, and the bullets simply don't have enough penetration to pierce the main armor.
Although I neither see anything that could resemble an active, or reactive form of armor on her, so in order to lift that mystery Nika would have to let us in on her armor design details!

It wasn't the latest model, it had first been commissioned by the military several years ago at the outbreak of Platinum Wars. It remained however the most advanced reactive armor even after entering production on the black market. It's high costs both in production and maintenance make it rarity among mercenary groups and rarer still seen in action.
