So, Commando struck me as the sort of reptilian who enjoys a bit of a Predator style of combat. Sneak in close, and then close his jaws around somebody's neck. Perhaps not literally, but who knows?

The image editing was not all too hard. The background was a swampy one, but I looked for something with a nice "hole" amidst the green through which Commando could "stick out" from. Here I learned an important lesson however. The point where the lower part of the body meets the water had to be softer.

Before that it was a black line "border", but that made it look unnatural. So what I did, in this case, was I chose a soft blue color and sprayed it along the base, to make the upper body "melt" into the water. It's still somewhat visible, but smudgy enough to not make it stand out too much.
