They grow up so fast. He used to be such a fat little grub. *sniffle* I need a tissue.

This how Billie will look like when he comes out of his pupa stage. (I haven't drawn the pupa stage yet.) Now that he is fully developed it's easy to identify what genetic material he was created from: a Japanese Rhinoceros Beetle. (cliche, huh?)

He is strong, but he mostly non-aggressive despite how mean he looks; just don't confront or threaten him directly. Oh, and don't try to be funny and take his food. At that point you're just asking to get your ass kicked. (BTW, there is a papaya in his hand in the full body drawing, he loves his fruit)

He has fully developed hind wings and can fly, but he has the maneuverability of a brick with wings. His landings are heavy and his turning ability is very wide.

The holes in his sides are his spiracles. He uses those to breath but he can use his mouth to gulp air. An example of him needing to do that is if his body is underwater.

Though heavily armored he does have soft spots. The gapes in his armor plates is one. He can compress his internals to close the gapes, but it's not very comfortable. (it would be the equivalent of sucking in your gut as tight as you can and holding it for who knows how long) His eyes are his other vulnerable spot. Protective disks can form over his skull sockets, but it leaves him visually blind. He can sense living things around him but he would be vulnerable to long distance attacks, or if something/one dropped down on him.

He also has no agility. He's big, bulky and slow. D: He's still a tough cookie though, and around 8ft tall from head to toe. (not counting his horn or hump height)
