Why is TV tropes is always flooded with examples from bullshit anime and manga that only one with arteries hardened by pocky goop might understand, and usually has one or two examples from TV an English speaker might have watched?

It's sorted by genre supersorted alphabetically, so "Anime & Manga" is always first on a page. Are you sure you're looking past the "Anime & Manga" section?

Also, some tropes are more western and some tropes are more eastern. What medium the examples are from always depends on the context of the trope (save for certain Universal Tropes).
