Random sketch power turned weird...coloring...slop job.
OH WELL.
Councilman Sylax'zazar (my chubby short Oct'thul/Flayer Councilman) said something...off the wall. Like he normally does. Never means anything by it, he's a bit of a scatter brain. Sin and Tsiix'xja apparently did not like said comment...
Honestly was working on something else and of course, multitask took over and viola...I actually should have finished this faster. LOL
Yeah, Sin and Tsiix'xja...I wanted to draw them imposing...which they are. And hawt. Hur hur hur. Oh god. Sylax is just kinda cute in that "Omg i'm gonna pinch your cheeks" sorta way. Must finish his chibi form...*punches self for not finishing ANY OF THEM*

NEED to finish full body shots of those two. So people can see their awesome gear, yo.
Tsiix'xja and his mobster looking stuff and Sin in his...evil gothy whatever the hell it is. This is probably the first time i've actually colored Sin's gear, even though you can't really see it. He's got some big ass pauldrons, lol. Tsiix'xja doesn't...but he's got some huge pads for the shoulders of his coat to cover the shoulder spikes.
I'm really tired so i'm rambling. I SORRY. Ok night.

And blah, I am still working on it myself. I just put like a few light lines around the eyes in one layer then kinda smudge it up a bit and add another layer to put more glow. So far, my favorite glowing eyes though have got to be what I did with Ravenwing. In one of the TF books I have, they have the most awesome glowing eyes so I try to reference off of that.

These particular characters are just part of a personal story actually. XD Same one Casra is from-all though I will say Casra and Sin(My Sin is based on an old design I drew of him way back when, BUT in the DnD game my Gm also was the one who made the name, but he spelt it as "Syn".) were originally conceived from an old DnD game called Seifer Saga that was played a quite a few years ago.
Maybe one day I will post stuff about said story...if I wasn't a lazy butt i'd draw like comic strips for it, because that would be awesome. XD

A few years ago, a friend and I were discussing undersea D&D campaigns and the topic of blue-ringed flayers came up. It makes me extremely happy (and somewhat jealous) to see someone else has thought of the idea and run with it much farther than I could have. Purple flayers are awesome, but there are so many other sweet octopi (and cephalopods, for that matter) out there! :D
Oh gosh! Well, I honestly was surprised I haven't seen many more...I know someone I talk to has a friend who RPs one-when I originaly designed Sin a ways back I just thought the idea of different colors would be awesome to the usual purple. Even though I kinda keep that with Casra and Xass... And I agree with you on the array of other coloration's and designs that are out there. Hehe. I have a folder with a ton of squid, octopi, and cuttlefish...and also nudibranchs that I use for the colors for my Flayer/Oct'thul. Since mine are just monstrous anthro psychic octopus things now a days, it just kinda fits with them for all the crazy colors based on the real thing. XD If I wasn't such a lazy beast i'd have posted quite a few of them by now. I have way too many for my story arch. But I luffs them all! I'm a tard. @_@
