Advanced Cell Shaded Bust of none other than Muzafr! The Scourge of the Sands, Man-Eater from Jahannam, Nightmare of Da'esh, Desert Eagle, Jund an-Nas, the Scales of Judgement~
Ah, it has been far too a hot minute since I did some art of Muzafr! Their stake has gone from, in addition to being the terror of terror everywhere, particularly in the Near East, above that to embody the unforgiving, merciless authority of the desert sands. The embodiment of just, even when it's not the most painless of processes.
I wanted to capture Muz's rogue, almost far-removed aspect from the goings-on with the Squadron. They rarely interact with Muzafr, and when they do it's either a roaring silhouette from a sandstorm or from a heavily-armed henchman delivering a message written with scratchy Arabic. Here Muzafr perches, overseeing her kingdom of rock and gold, performing her will with cutting, constant precision. Their enemies never even realize just how literally close to death they are at all times...
