I saw this sign at a turnout in Glacier Park near a small balcony thing overlooking some rapids.
So apparently, people up there in Montana and South Canada think it's a good idea to go swimming in rapids, or there are enough stupid tourists who think that white water = fun water.
I like the picture, too. I might make it an icon, soon.
