Subject: Aboriginal Kangaroo witnesses Alien Owl Being.
Materia Artistica: Microns watercolours, coloured pencils
References: I looked up the nose of the roo..... everything else was from my headmeats
Notes: Based on a loose interpretation of of the Owlmen figures in aboriginal art. this would be a native seeing an alien "god" wandering around. the Alien knows he is there and knows he is harmless so is looking for something else and ignoring him and only really paying attention to the landscape. Not surew what he lost or is looking for but it is probably important. Meanwhile the Roo paints down what he sees before him to record it for others. He quickly jots it down in white pigment on a near rock while ducking behind a plant.

This is another one that I thikn turned out wonderfully. I LOVE the subject matter and what is going on. It is so provoking because that perticular piece that the native is painting there really does exist if memory serves me correctly. The only thing that really bothers me after studying the piece is the way the ship was drafted. The very top of it looks crooked. You probably didnt' notice it while yo uwere working on it but it really throws the ship off. Just a little more care when drafting it would of helped a bunch. Other than that I have nothign to complain about. I certainly hope you havent' goten tired of hearing my critiques...
no it is not crooked. but i had to bring in the border a bit more when it was in pencil. the other side fo the view port humped back up like it did on the side one can see. but i needed it to fucking fit in a goddamned 8-10 mat since i cannot find any damn 8-1/2 by 11 mats.... and i suck at cutting mats.... sigh... it kinda screwed a lot of things in the art show since stuff done before i got the mats got cut off some... i think i am going to just keep trying to make things fit to that measure since i have no room for a real mat cutter here in my basement so i will have to buy premade ones
