I'm slowly getting better, but still feel like crap.
As I begin to prepare to work on my next big project now that Pet Project is almost complete (Page 27's pencils will be posted soon, but I must put commissions back on priority again) I've decided to start practicing the next evolution of my particular style of furry art, and this is the result.
Stay tuned; all throughout September, you'll see more promotional art for the Wild Coast. What it is, exactly, you'll find out soon enough.
Here we have
CandyMare showing off her durn quarter horse running ability in front of KJ, who is built for lifting, and
Lei-Lani, who not only is shorter but has a big ol rudder tail to drag along that, scaled up to human size, would weigh probably about as much as an extra leg 'cause it's not mostly floof.

Ah, the problems with endurance running for anthropomorphic animals. :)
Any body mass that isn't a leg or involved in ground mobility can really cut down on how far one can go. Things like fur may also inhibit sweating, airflow, and cooling off, good as it is for blocking sunlight.
