The exciting adventures of Sgt. Axel continue in the new feature film SNAPPED AXEL!
I took a break from writing to try out some of my less used programs.
I was experimenting with my vector based animation program called Anime Studio Pro and this is what came out.
I was going to do a fake screen shot of a part in my story but decided I should give my characters a break for a while, so I can learn new styles and techniques.
I considered a few options and then I happened to come across one of the characters of DNK-Anais, I saw her character Sgt. Axel and learned that she realy likes the movie Hot Fuzz.
I combined the two and had a flash of inspiration, it very quickly turned into a full blown image in ASP, with some post work in Photo shop CS to make it look like a screenshot.
The car is actualy one from the movie too, it's a 2001 Vauxhall Astra MkIV. The rear of the car is off a bit, but it isn't realy noticable. I didn't put the Vauxhall badge on it simply because it would just get obscured by the filters I used to make it look like a screenshot.
The gun Axel is using is an M1911A1 with silver frame and black slide, probably custom too.
I took a bit of artistic liberty with her characters, they didn't exactly fit in a car with the way she draws them.
I think I'm going to do this more often, its alot of work using ASP, it has a few bugs that can be pretty anoying sometimes, like fills stretching out of the line work. But it's totaly worth it. I'm going to start doing more random stuff whenever I feel like drawing.

I am so happy you like it :), I was a bit nervous about messing with someone else's characters.
You have a fantastic style and your characters are quite unique, I just felt like I HAD to do something with them.
Sgt. Axel combines both of my biggest interests, dragons and police, and right from the first image of him you posted I wanted to draw him. Since I have a police dragon character of my own I considered drawing them both, like a chance encounter or something, but this idea was too much to pass up.
I posted it on Deviant-art too, but I think I forgot to link you to it there.
