Back in 2006 I became a fan of the Sonic francizes, this was the second example of talking cartoon animals that came in to my life that I just loved. I played the games, watch the television shows and enjoyed so much of the merchandise that came out around Sonic. Unfortunately as time went on the sonic-x television show ended, the games lost their luster and the fandom around it got too weird and disturbing, despite all of that I still enjoyed Sonic for what I always enjoyed about it, an adventurous high spirited Hedgehog that saved the day whom's adventures were backed with Amazing music, bright visuals and beautiful landscapes , I found all of that Inspiring and I can remember watching the old sonic cartoons and there would be this amazing surge of happiness and energy that would get me going for the day (I could take on anything) it's these feeling and emotions that I got through Sonic and all sought of cartoon animals that could walk and talk that made me relies that I really enjoy anthropomics. When I found the Furry fandom in 2011, I couldn't believe that their was a place for people who felt the same way or that there were that many at all. Earlier this year Sonic Mania came out and brought back those old memories and enjoyment With it's classic retro looking posters and it's game design, it got me into playing the games again and I started listening to some of the old theme music those catchy 8-bit renditions of New Jack Swing and started watching several well constructed and well researched YouTube videos around Sonic, one of which inspired this piece, it came to me while watching it. If you couldn't tell this is Felix the Cat dressed up as Sonic (he even spiked his fur back to really get into the spirit ) I decided on this because I found the concept new for myself in which I am bringing two characters together and I thought it was unique.
