For Zoya the term knight is not a literal one, rather referring to a rank that she is hoping to work up to among the military ranking system of her homeworld. Despite her usual bored appearance during her academy years Zoya was quite the stupid, both in academics (although you could've fooled her classmates and teachers sometimes!) and in physical exercises. Here we have her using a force sword to slice through a sphere in training, a weapon that she would be quite familiar with in the future.
