How you portrayed Zero.. and built her in your unique and detailed style blows me the hell away.. this piece is intense, and Eight of Zero's history makes me feel bad for the poor guy. I like how these two have similarities in terms of past, and yet they have to fight each other.
Your skills with textures kill me, I can't get over how detailed this is.. you spoil me rotten, but I still very much appreciate what you do for me!
Nice to see this finished, and actually own this piece in person as well. Thank you so much for being so kind to me, Jack!

It was all meant to be telling a story (or perhaps the one I told you about him if there was no official script to him yet). Similar past, yet different goals. One operated through governmental power, while the other is solely rogue specimen of a long forgotten corporation.
I'm glad it have one good owner now ^^ *bows*

The piece has a nice, somewhat dystopian futuristic atmosphere! Be it due to the general colour palette with cold blues and occassional red to give nice focal points and accents, or the rough buildings without much differentiation (coherent with a lot of modernist architects or contemporary corporate architecture) or the extensive use of the flares. It's almost Blade Runner-esque!
The characters fit the setting and as I told you before, I'm amazed by the amount of detail you invest in each of them! Even after looking on the scene for a while one can always find some new features or other stuff one missed before. The dynamic of the scene is emphasized by the perspective from the bottom up - there aren't many who can draw this and keep it upright throughout the picture :D
The combat posing is also very dynamic and somewhat exaggerated (which fits to the movement), the Zero declares the attack pretty soon and is very opened which Mr. eight of zero could use, had he not been already in a dodging position against a wrath-hew. Of course, considering that, it would have been a boring scene had they just stood there in guard positions being all "en garde!" x)
So! The picture is a very well done piece! I like! :D
