Here's a gator character I've been working on from time to time. His name is Dante. He was at one time getting tickle tortured, which you can see here:

I thank my dragon friend for posting many of my animations a while back during my troubled, busy times :3
That old model became corrupted, so I can no longer access that character or animation I had him in, but it's really good to start him off fresh.
Dante 2.0 has a lot more texture, and is overall a better functional model to animate. Here he is in a small animation, enjoying his time relaxing. I didnt feel like rendering out a background, so I just used an image :p Looking forward to tickling the hell out of him some time soon >x3

Okay...I gotta ask.
First off, big fan. You do great stuff for Landfighter and now Dlpeattie, and I'm incredibly surprised that you decided to come around and show yourself as the incredibly gifted person you are, you deserve all the praise you get.
Second, and more to the point...how do you do this? I can assume this is some high-end animation program bigger and better than stuff like Blender or Source Filmmaker, but how do you do all of this at such...high quality? The reflection of the coffee table, the smooth animation, the model...just...how do you do this? Is it meticulous amounts of tweening and tweaking at every frame? Is it something deeper? I'd love to know, if only to better understand the crazy process you go through for your friends and/or commishes.

Well thank you! :3
From what I've seen, Blender works as well at creating high quality work, but I really can't speak fro that since I don't use Blender. I use Maya, and mostly everything can be done from that program alone, in terms of rendering out high quality frames. Models are built, textured, rigged, and animated. The way it looks depends on what materials you use, and in each material are many parameters to play around with to get the look that you want. Also, it depends on what renderer you use. Some can render cartoons, while others can go for a more photo realistic approach. It just depends on how much one knows about the program. Another approach is by using maps such as bump, or displacement maps. Those really push out the detail and style of a model. It all depends on how much an artist is comfortable working with a program. It really takes a commitment though, many hours tweaking stuff. It's all quite a challenge when first messing with it, but keep pushing and you can make some pretty incredible stuff. The only expense is time and computer resources really :3

Ooooh, Maya. *quickly checks a preview animation/advertisement for Maya 2015* ...wow, that's a lot of detail you can add. Like...holy crap.
Oh no, no no, I could never pull this stuff off. I had a nosebleed trying to figure out C Basic. The last time I tried drawing was back in like 2010. I'll just sit back and praise you from a safe distance. *thumbs up!* ...also money. Money's the thing too.

A great update to the original design, I like the non webbed toes.
And oh yeah tickle the hell out of him!
You know, I'd love to see you do some animations where the victims are shown being strapped down, like the wrists, and feet being automatically strapped down, by straps, clamps, or stocks before being tickled. Maybe you can try that out with Dante in future animations.
