NYC is always moving, always changing, never standing still. As I stood on the roof of a smaller building and scanned the distant buildings there were structures there that had not existed 2 years earlier, and some that had spent that time growing. On the ground one could look up and spot cranes, sometimes having to adjust one's route as to either avoid the construction all together or to take a detour through the cafe part of a restaurant. I wish I had the time to stay there to take six months worth of progress shots.
