What I find interesting is that Kedamono is doing the one thing that he shouldn't and is managing to get the upper hand in the fight.
He is fighting a gryphon in the air, while he himself does not have wings and he is somehow managing to get good (if not critical) hits in.

So they only make the "Bwack" sound when they laugh. How disappointing. Also I have just noticed. There are no stars. At all. They must be hiding or they are in a self contained environment with moons.

Birdy sounds for laughs and surprise. I doubt anyone would take an angry "Wark!" seriously, anyway.

Oh, there are stars. We've just yet to pan high enough to see them, or maybe it's just overcast, or maybe I'm lazy. They could also be in... your heart.

Heh, makes me wonder what the laughing gryphons would sound like. (Me I always imagine a coop of agitated chickens somehow, but I'm not sure if that's right.)
