Awes and Wulfs are very much different species, but similar enough to be considered distant cousins. Wulfs lack the wings of Awes and have long prehensile tails and climbing abilities.

Culturally they are quite different and the Wulf and Awe people have always had complicated relationships. Although the two share continent, natural geographical barriers have kept the two peoples largely out of each others fur.
But a number of Wulfs reside in Awelands today and are considered full citizens. Some, like Keeper, have joined the Admiralty and gained rank through merit.
