Cryptozoology, literally means the study of hidden animals. Those creatures unknown to science, or surviving pre-historic relics.
But what of those animals so pointless, so worthless, so......CRAP that science just doesn't want to know, and remain hidden more from a sense of acute embarrasment than anything else?
Welcome to the shadowy world of Craptozoology.
From the 12th of November 1966 to December 1967, in and around the Charleston and Point Pleasant areas of West Virginia a ghostly figure that became known as The Mothman was seen.
In the 1980's all over the Uk a creature known as The Gothman was reported. Clad in a long black coat, black jeans so tight that even Russel Brand would get a blood clot just by looking at them, heavy black boots and a faded black wooly sweater, with a waxy pale complexion, chipped black nails and black hair (with the roots showing a different colour). The Gothman never actually harmed anyone, it just seemed to mope around a lot, looking miserable and listless, puffing on a black menthol cigarette.
These days goths are rare creatures, they can still be seen in the traditional 'Gothic Fringes'. Exotic locations such as Camden in London, Whitby in Yorkshire and a pub named 'The Bear' in Bedford.
Just like faeries, it is said goths can be appeased by offerings, but instead of a bowl of milk or cream, gothologists recomend a pint of Snakebite & Black.
