One building at the Frontier Village of Jamestown, ND had surveying equipment used by surveyors in surveying the land, making maps, etc. While there was no shortage of telescopes, plumb bobs, tape measures and more traditional equipment, surveyors did have to keep up with the times so computers were part of their toolbox as well.
