I didn't want my posts this week to end on such a sad note. So, to make up for my previous submission, here is a photo of the new dog in my family. Gretchen is a six year old English Bulldog that I adopted just two days ago. She is deaf and has very poor eyesight. I attribute most of her 55 pounds in weight to her large and loving heart.

I have had and still have lots of dogs, but Verona was an English Bulldog. Then I lost my favorite a few moths later. That would be Bella. She was just a mutt but what a wonderful personality. She was attached to my hip.
