This is related to the awesome mini-series 'Tin Man'. Don't know, you'll probably get confused reading the stuff below.
It had been a few years since the reign of Azkadelia was put to halt by DG. Glitch had been reunited with the other half of his brain and now saw himself as Ambrose, Advisor to Lavender Eyes. Wyatt Cain had taken up post as leader of the army formerly known as the 'Longcoats'. They now stood for peace and unity. DG, Azkadelia and her family led a peaceful life now, but that was about to be broken.
A creature of intelligence and culture had traveled long and far to tell the Queen about the battle that now ensued. Recently the humans living about the rest of the world started to fight the intelligent creatures. After centuries of struggling up the food-chain those former creatures who came after Cowardly Lion [think original Wizard of Oz lion] had now gained a culture and society. For so long they lived aside the humans with no arguments and no battles. What had tainted the humans' minds puzzled all the intelligent creatures.
A small village of intelligent cougars sent a spokesman to inform the Queen about the increasingly deadly attacks on them. She had traveled through forests older than the Cowardly Lion himself. She had seen things that would make us Earth bound humans gasp in awe. Many moonrises had passed since she left and she now wondered if her village would remember her.
As she reached the grandeous doors of the castle, she momentarily stopped to gaze behind her. She felt such pain about something, it was visible on her face. It was something only she knew and no one else. She then faced the Queens' castle. Taking a deep breath, she pressed on.
Finally, she reached the doors and saw a man wearing a long grey coat and a grey fedora. He walked towards her with a look of concern. "I'm Akuma Starrcho and I bring dismal news from the villages of the South," she immediately spoke, "As spokesman for my village I also carry the burden of returning back to my home village to tell them of what is going to be done." The man in the grey fedora introduced himself, "I'm Wyatt Cain, leader of the army in O.Z. I can immediately take you to who you need to talk to," he looked her up and down. Akuma gave him a look of sorriness. She had now realized her clothing was less than formerly, especially for the visit to the Queen. She was wearing the only clothing she had. Sadly it consisted of a somewhat prettied up loincloth looking skirt and a top that covered her breasts, the strap going across the shoulder opposite her bow-arm.
She immediately apologized, "I am so sorry for my clothing. It's all we have back home." Cain gently took her arm and lead her in. He let go of her arm and spoke in that rough voice of his, "Don't apologize for your clothing. You can't control that aspect. The Queen won't mind it at all. She'd be pleased to know you're here to inform her on what is happening," then he rushed towards the door that lead to the Queens' private garden.
Akuma looked around her. She immediately felt pathetic for how she was dressed. All the Queens' staff was dressed so eloquently and exquisite. She noticed a man wearing a brown longcoat with yellow buttons and strings on the front. His black hair was so curly, it reminded her of waves on lake near her village. Her village. She drooped her head and thought so hard about them. What if someone precious to her had been killed? What if the village was burnt to the ground like their neighbors' had been? What if she had no family or home to return to? She immediately felt very depressed. Her clothing was the least of her worries.
"Hello there newcomer. May I ask what your name is?" that upbeat voice snapped her back to reality. The man with the black hair was standing right in front of her. She had never heard him walk up.
She perked her ears and forced a smile, "I'm Akuma Starrcho," she bowed to him, "What is your name sir?"
That smile of his made her feel happy again. "My name is Ambrose, advisor to the Queen herself. May I see if we have some clothes suitable for you to wear?" She felt extremely embarrassed now. She could feel her face becoming warm.
"I've always worn this clothing. It lets me hunt well," she picked at something on stomach.
"I didn't mean to offend you at all. I'm sorry," Akuma interjected before he could finish, "But I wouldn't mind some updated fashion. Loincloths only get you so far." Ambrose smiled again and Akuma felt happier. She liked that smile of his.
He took her towards the back of the castle and up some stairs. "I didn't think I'd get treatment like this. I mean, I knew the Queen was nice but not this nice," she followed Ambrose dilligently. Afterall, the idea of fresh clothes made her happy. They walked into a room full of clothes in all shapes and sizes. Akuma immediately walked over to a dark purple longcoat with silver buttons and strings, somewhat like Ambroses'. Then she saw some slacks that were a light grey color. Lastly, she grabbed a tie that was bright orange and definitely grab anyones' attention.
"I like these!" she said enthusiastically. Ambrose chuckled while he watched Akuma look over the clothes like she had discovered a new stone. She had never seen nor owned something so fancy. Ambrose walked up to her and took the clothes from her, "Why don't you go put them on and get out of those nasty cloths." Akuma happily obliged to his offer and noticed a room to change in. She rushed over and in no time she came back out wearing her newfound beauties. She twirled around and watched as the tails of her coat follow her.
"I look like a peacock!" she laughed. Then she stopped and remembered Ambrose being there.
"Thank you very much for these. You haven't got an inkling of an idea how much I appreciate it." Ambrose replied with another smile. It made him so happy to see someone else happy. "We should go find Cain and the Queen. If I heard you right you had something to tell her."
Akuma perked her ears remembering this. "We should definetely go find her." The both of them quickly walked down the stairs.
It's long but when I get to writing and write a lot. Time for bed now. Raw's position will be figured out as the story progresses.
