Here's the floraverse versions for kai and meringue!!!

Kai is a huge fruit frog/bunny mix and the caretaker of meringue. the bulbs on his cheeks and tail are like fruits and they also taste like such. he can inflate them to inhale air and magically amplify and manipulate his voice, and can even manipulate the sound waves of his voice so the sound reaches a specific location, leaving anything else silent. he can also croak sonic booms as an attack/defense measure. aside from that, he's big and strong, with a fairly tough hide! he's pretty confident and rather sassy, but really serious in protecting and loving his mate.

Meringue is a small gel beast who is kai's mate. she works as a breeder, acting as a host for other people's babies and can manipulate the fertility of the person she's mating with! once she's mated with someone, she'll lay an egg in a 24 hour period that will contain the child of the person she mated with. she cannot transmit her genes to the egg she makes, so the resulting child has no traces of her dna. she's very cheerful and a little naive.
