Back in the days of the early 2,000s when I had more money than brains I commissioned the sculptor Recardo Breceda who is better known for creating the giant Mammoth steel sculpture visable from the I-60 headed to Riverside, CA.
Some folks mistake the fox sculpture for a coyote, so I added the kerchief and the sunglasses to alert the local plinkers that this is NOT a new target.

This reminds me of a horse with foal sculpture over in Dublin, Oh need to get better pictures of it sometime.
As to more money than brains statement while saving it is good do we spend NOTHING just in case or enjoy at least a few fruits of our labors. Looking back its easy to say we shouldn't of done that at time?

Ricardo Breceda has done quite a few monumental-scale animal sculptures, including at least one mammoth, but most of his sculptures are in Borrega Valley, west of the Salton Sea. The particular mammoth on I-60 in Riverside was by Klaus Duebbert. http://www.passforge.com/mammoth.html
