My tribute to the Great American Solar Eclipse 2017 with my namesake, Eclipsis, making his own path of totality across the land. Yes, there is actually a character to my screen name. I just rarely ever draw him.
Stampy however has gone to great lengths to get me to draw not only more of him, but macro (cause macrophiles). So we may be seeing more of him especially now with my Patreon account in place.
As macrophile dorks are, even talking to him this morning we keep talking about my paws blocking out the sun instead of the moon. xD Who knows, maybe seeing this experience for myself may inspire something like that! I live in the path of totality and I will get the full experience for myself. I am very excited.
The picture itself took quite a while to do over the course of several livestreams ( https://picarto.tv/Eclipsis ). Black takes a long time to shade with any of my dry media on white paper (graphite in this case). But you know me! I looooove black. Though in color, Eclipsis is actually an indigo blue almost black.
