On August 21, 2017, a vast stretch of the United States becomes host to a total solar eclipse. This event begins in the North Pacific Ocean, makes landfall in Oregon, reaches its maximum duration of 2 minutes, 40 seconds in southern Illinois and western Kentucky, departs the continent in South Carolina, and ends in the North Atlantic.
As a result, Arthricia (of Rick and Morty fame) and my longtime OC Lauren Glass have taken a day off to observe this special moment.
Unfortunately, my home in northeastern MA is too far away from the action. The sun here gets 63% obscured. Well, it’s better than a complete miss.

Well, we have different tastes. Guess that's human nature.
Uncanny? (researches the topic carefully) I always thought my feet renderings fall short on realism. Then again, human feet always have a very high potential to be aesthetically disturbing. (yes, I do admit that)
