Alright, I finally got the story for this commission done! So here's the picture again, but this time with the story attached. This commission is for
Myrkul Rose, and the characters belong to her.
Wickertaur
Evelyn looked at the costume in her hands. In spite of the word emblazoned on the side of the box it had arrived in, it certainly didn't look "taur-rific."
In fact, it was altogether disappointing. It was just a flimsy piece of cloth. It would cover the lower half of her body, but the back part of the costume would be empty. She had expected there to be some kind of supports to go into the rear part; the advertising had definitely said this was meant to be a one-person costume. Wouldn't the back part just drag on the floor behind her?
Still, she had spent a lot of money on this, so she was at least going to try it on. Maybe the costume makers knew something that she didn't. Perhaps her tail could be used to hold up the rear portion? And it did look clean, at least.
She shuffled the folded material around in her arms until she could see the opening. She lowered it, lifted one leg, and stepped inside.
It fit better than she had expected, almost like the costume had been tailored to her. Her legs both slid into the costume easily, and it rested snugly around her lower body. She maneuvered her tail into the empty back part of the costume.
Evelyn immediately realized that something was wrong.
It started with an odd rippling sensation, which began around her waist and moved down her legs. The costume, which had felt snug a moment ago, now conformed to her legs so well it almost felt like she wasn't wearing anything at all. Then The color of the costume had changed, as well; the part on her underbelly had remained white, but the legs had changed to match the grey of her own legs. It even had her stripes!
But the strangest part was her tail. She could feel it... changing. It was a bizarre sensation; she couldn't quite tell if her tail was growing or just moving away from her. She suddenly felt very back-heavy, and she lost her balance, tilting over backwards -- only to find that something had stopped her from falling.
Evelyn twisted her upper body so she could get a look at what was happening. The opening she had stepped into seemed to have sealed itself closed, so she couldn't actually see inside it, but the rear part of the costume was inflating, as though it was being filled with a body made to fit it. The colors were changing back there, too, to a pattern matching her own stripes, and the rear legs reshaped themselves to look like Evelyn's legs.
Panicking, Evelyn fumbled around her waist, looking for the seam so she could pull the costume off. She couldn't find it. In fact, she couldn't even pull the costume away from her body, as though it had fused to her fur. Except it felt like it was her fur.
She ran her hand further down, over her hips and down towards the trunk of the "taur" body. It felt like actual fur -- not the faux stuff the costume had before she had put it on -- and with solid flesh and bone beneath. She drew in a sharp breath, and felt the body move beneath her fingers.
Evelyn swallowed hard. She needed some help.
Rex walked up to the refurbished barn where Evelyn lived at a brisk gait. He didn't know what was wrong -- she hadn't given him a lot of details over the phone -- but she had sounded panicked. He knocked on the door.
"Come in!" Evelyn's voice sounded flustered.
Rex pushed the door open... and gasped. Evelyn stood before him, except she didn't look like Evelyn. Instead of two legs, she had four, with a second torso extruding out from her hips.
"Rex!" She said. "Thank goodness you're here!"
Rex hesitated for a moment. "Evelyn? What happened to you!?"
"I... I don't know! I bought this costume that was supposed to make me a taur, but I didn't think it would actually make me a taur!" She turned in an awkward circle as she tried to look back at her body.
Rex took a step towards her. "So it's a costume!"
"No! I mean, yes! It was, but now it's not!" Evelyn ran her fingers over her stomach. "The seam is gone! The fur feels like my fur! And my body... it changed. Those back legs are actually mine, somehow. I can move them, I can feel them! Oh, I knew I shouldn't have trusted that shady magazine ad!"
"Okay, okay, calm down!" Rex said. "You're not in any pain, right?"
Evelyn stopped, thinking about it. "No, not really. It feels weird, but it doesn't hurt."
"Okay, good. Here, let me have a look." Rex walked up to Evelyn, placing a hand on the side of her taur torso.
It certainly felt real. He could even feel her breathing. "This is... this is really something. You're right, it feels real."
"Yeah," Evelyn said. "You know, I guess in a way... this is kind of what I wanted. I wondered what it would feel like to be a taur. I just didn't think it would be this literal."
"You said you got it from a magazine? Do you still have the ad? Maybe they've got a phone number you can call."
Evelyn's eyes widened. "Of course! Yeah, I'll have to find it, but I think I still have it. Why didn't I think of that?"
"Well, it's kind of a weird situation. It's not too surprising that you panicked," Rex said. "But we can figure this out."
"Y-yeah... yeah, we'll figure this out. I'm sure whoever made the costume can help me. If I want them to."
"Oh?"
"Well, now that I've calmed down a bit, it actually feels... kind of nice." Evelyn sat down on her haunches. "I've never had extra limbs before. I feel... strong. And..."
Rex tilted his head to one side. "And what?"
Evelyn placed one of her large forepaws on her belly. "And... hungry. Really hungry. More hungry than I've ever been in my life."
"Oh. That makes sense; your body is bigger than it was before, it probably needs more fuel. Do you need me to make you something?"
"I don't know if I've got enough food in the house for how hungry I am," Evelyn said. Her gaze wandered over to Rex. "Hey, Rex..."
Something in Evelyn's tone made Rex's heart skip a beat. "Y-yeah?"
Evelyn's eyelids were low, and she sounded half-lucid. She brought one of those large forepaws up and rested it on Rex's shoulder. "Maybe you can help me out..."
Rex felt a lump forming in his throat. He tried to back away, but the heavy weight on his shoulder made it difficult. "Evelyn, let's talk rationally about..."
Before he could finish his sentence, he found himself being pulled forward towards a open maw. An orange tongue beckoned him for a moment, before Evelyn's muzzled engulfed his head, the jagged edges of her muzzle teeth biting into the fur around his neck.
Rex let out a cry of surprise and tried to pull back. His entire world had become dark and very wet, and he could feel Evelyn's tongue flick against his chin. His fur caught on Evelyn's muzzle, preventing him from retreating.
And Evelyn wasn't giving him time to do so, anyway. He felt her thick claws slide into the top of his shirt, and with a swift motion, tear his shirt open. The tatters were frantically pulled away as Evelyn swallowed, gulping down his shoulders. He could feel both her forepaws and her hands on his body, helping to shove him in deeper.
Soon he was in up to his waist. His pants came off next -- Evelyn didn't have to destroy those, just slide them off -- and then she was tilting her head back, using gravity to help his flailing legs slide into her muzzle.
Rex closed his eyes as Evelyn's gullet embraced him. No point in struggling now -- he had no leverage. Nothing to do but just wait until he reached his final destination.
Evelyn moved her head in a scooping motion to help pull her meal deeper into her body. The paws slid across her tongue, and she clicked her fangs shut behind them. The large lump moved down her torso, not even stopping in her upper body before sliding down to the lower one, filling out her new, taur belly.
Evelyn let out a sigh of satisfaction. Her new stomach felt wonderful when full! And she wasn't sure she had ever felt this full before.
She froze, her heart pounding in her chest. The strange hunger craze left her, and she was lucid again.
"Rex!" She bent her upper body over so she could look at her belly.
The massive bulge was still squirming. She thought she saw the imprint of a hand, and then she heard Rex's voice, muffled through flesh and fur. "Evelyn?"
"Rex! I'm so sorry! I just... I was so hungry, and I lost control!"
A moment passed before Rex's voice penetrated her belly again. "Evelyn, it's okay."
"What? It's not okay! I ate you!"
"I know, I know, but you were hungry. I mean, you've got this new body, and a stomach that had literally never had anything in it before. It's not surprising you'd want to fill it. For all we know, you would have literally starved if you hadn't!"
Evelyn frowned. "Yeah, but... I should get you out!"
She felt Rex press against the inside of her stomach walls. "I'm saying it's fine, Evelyn. We don't want to mess up your body any more than it already is by trying to make you sick. So I think we should just... let this happen."
"R-really? You'd do that for me?"
"Yeah. What are friends for?"
Evelyn stared at her stomach, her heart pounding in her chest. Rex was really willing to just... be her meal? Because she was his friend? "Rex, I... I don't know what to say."
"Well, why don't you get somewhere comfortable, and then I'll try to get comfortable?"
Evelyn nodded -- realizing as she did so that Rex couldn't see it -- and then sauntered over to her couch. She laid down on it, her long body taking up the entire length of the cushions, her belly sticking out to the side. "How's that?"
"Gimme a minute." She felt Rex shuffling around, then settling again. "There, I'm good."
"Rex, are you sure about this? I could still..."
"Nah. Don't bother." Evelyn thought she heard a yawn, and the walls of her stomach stretched out as Rex stretched inside her. "The air's already starting to get a little thin in here, so I think I'm gonna just take a nap and let this happen."
Evelyn ran one of her forepaws across her belly. It just felt so... right. "Thank you, Rex."
"You're welcome. Enjoy your meal!"
After a moment, the weight in her belly settled further, and Evelyn realized that Rex was asleep.
She yawned and stretched her arms. She realized that she feeling pretty tired herself. She leaned her upper body against the arm of the couch, closing her eyes. She would just rest for a minute or two.
It had been a busy day, after all.
