I just wanted to make myself a little overview of the winder-gear in the northern Naronian legions. It's mostly a combination of four layers. Undergarment, made of short linen pants and a linen or hemp shirt. A second layer of a shick heavy woolen longcoat, fur-rimmed boots and heavy gloves. A third layer, made by the regular set of norther Naronian armor and last a fourth layer, which is a cloak of felted wool, rimmed with locally claimed fur.
In the world of Droran, "sentients" normally doesn't shy away from eating meat and wearing furs and leather. They do not feel much more connection with their "feral" counterparts than we do to our worlds animals. It's a way of survival and has always been since the dawn of their time. All "people" of Droran has a humanoid digestive system, which makes them very similar to us.
Some cultures of Droran DOES forbid killing of their representative "clan-animal" but that's about it.
