Good grief it feels like I've been working on this forever! My mom and I just moved and are currently renovating our new house, so I've kind of just been snatching moments here and there to slowly chip away at this. Anyway, this is kind of a big spoiler for my Peacemaker fanfic (now called Wings of Fire: Revenant) but I figured since there's no guarantee the entire thing will ever see the light of day, then it didn't really matter. Basically, Peacemaker gets back his memory of being Darkstalker after overhearing a conversation between Moon and Foeslayer, and goes a little crazy once he realizes his life is lie, his entire identity is just an enchantment, and the dragons he thought were his friends tricked him and took away his powers. You know, the usual. Some serious crap goes down and it's up to Truthseeker (the reincarnation of Clearsight) to try to talk some sense into him. Here they're in the cave where Darkstalker was imprisoned, sitting on the outcropping where Darkstalker confronted Qibli in DoD. Peacemaker's eyes normally have a white sclera, like a human, but they turn black (like Darkstalker's) after he gets his memory back and goes into absolute rage mode. I also added the formerly enchanted bracelet, which Peacemaker uses to confront Truthseeker, demanding answers about the choices made in her past life. In the book the bracelet was described as being rusty, but since copper can't really rust I made it look tarnished and corroded instead. It may be blatantly obvious by this point, but I get off on freaking contrast. Do not give me access to crazy Photoshop lighting effects, because I do not know how to use them responsibly.
