Dust Woman was quite a challenge to conceptualize, but not too tough to actually create once I planned out how to design her.
Skull Man’s the male of the Cossack bots (because he seemed cooler that way, and I don’t know enough about Skullgirls to make a joke with “Skull Girl/Woman”), and I’m rather proud of my work on him. I ended up taking notes from both his in-game design, and his design in the Mega Man Megamix manga.
I don’t have much to say on Dive Woman, other than I excluded her helmet, because it made her look less interesting and too much like Hard Man.
Drill Woman’s design is heavily inspired by a drawing by JoPereira (creator of Nerf Now!). I also gave her drills a flip-top design, because after letting previous Robot Mistresses (Crash Woman, Spark Woman and Needle Woman) enjoy having hands, it’d be most unfair to restrict Drill Woman to a pair of drill bits!
