What's up everyone? Here's a new reference sheet from https://phobos-romulus.deviantart.com/ showing off the appearance of the teeny-tiny assassin, Jack the Giant Killer. A six inch tall mouse and master killer who is obsessed with murdering anything that happens to be bigger than he is. Is also the best friend of fellow homicidal criminal Bluebeard, in spite of the other guy's massive size.
Edit: Now with an outline of human feet, to help illustrate how tall he actually is.

Name: Jack ‘Jack the Giant Killer’ Hunter
Bio: Jack Hunter, or as law enforcement agencies, other criminals and himself like to call him “Jack the Giant Killer”, is an anthropomorphic mouse who happens to be about eight inches tall, and a notorious assassin who is distinctive in how unlike such examples of miniature soldiers like the Lilliputian army (which now uses human sized mech suits highly often) he kills and fights using nothing more than a power suit that enhances his physical prowess and a highly agile fighting style honed specifically to murder people much bigger than he is.
He was born in 1983, and originated from Little Lilliput, a smaller neighborhood (but not any larger than some of the average neighborhoods, size wise) in Hetelville populated by the smaller members of the city (like humanoid insects who were the actual size of bugs, Lilliputians, anthro mice who were closer to the sizes of actual mice, and other teeny-tiny citizens), he himself had a family that actually was fairly normal, albeit kind of poor, at least not having enough money to afford stuff like the floating cars or transport aids they needed to go out into Hetelville itself, at least in anything resembling relative safety.
However, once when he was eight, his class went on a field trip into the larger area’s schools, and he got separated from class, he went down the wrong hallway and ran into a trio of bullies lead by a humanoid dog and the other two being a pair of humanoid cats. They proceeded to torment the young mouse, though they were caught and suspended for it, this left some trauma in Jack’s mind in regards to ‘giants’ and was not at all helped by how the bullies found out where he lived and over a few years would periodically torment him and other ‘tiny kids’ from the district.
The trauma began to grow over the years, and also began to worry his parents, who attempted to send him to a therapist to work this out…unfortunately for everyone, the therapist also had to deal with similar bullies when he was younger and secretly encouraged hatred of the ‘giants.’
His obsession with them grew over time, and tended to weird other kids away from him, which made the poor devil become more helpless to both the bullying, other bullies within his school who dubbed the paranoid wreck a freak and his own paranoia, and though his parents found out a couple years later what the therapist was actually doing, it was too late.
One day when he was seventeen, one of the few friends he had left told him about how these bullies had recently totally humiliated him and actually attempted to drown him in a pool of vomit, something that seriously enraged Jack and vowed to finally put an end to this. So that night he figured out where they lived, and killed all three of the bullies as they slept, his paranoia finally coming to a head.
Jack had been exercising for quite some time, in preparation for ever having to fight a ‘giant’ and easily broke into their homes, slitting their wrists with a large shard of glass he’d found.
And it was that night he learned that he found killing giants to be very fun, and also left him kinda unhinged, because he broke into three other houses over the next two weeks to try the same thing…it did not end as well for him as Jack wasn’t too good at hiding his presence or evidence he was there. Which lead to the police trying to arrest him, but somehow he managed to escape the city and disappear.
Jack was left to try and make it in the wild, away from people…he’d always been a clever kid, and began to develop some knives he was going to use to help him in stealing food from campers and take down larger animals, he never was caught by the police during this two year period, and he not only developed the basis of the suits he’d wear to use the agile killing style he began in his stay in the woods, but also developed a method of self-taught parkour that would later become part of his signature killing methods.
After about two years, he’d figured out that ultimately the therapist was a piece of shit who messed him up, but he found that killing was very, very fun and decided that since there’s plenty of ‘giants’ who want other giants dead, perhaps he could profit off of this, he was tired of living in the woods off of whatever he could get, he wanted more…he came to a conclusion that going to Hetelville would get him arrested, so after some thinking on whether or not he wanted to go to Oregon or Seattle (the former containing another ‘paranormal city’ like Hetelville, and the latter actually having a sizable paranormal population) he chose the latter and headed there by sneaking on to a bus.
Upon getting there, he built a prototype of his ‘fighting suit’ and attempted to market himself to some local gangsters as a hitman called “Jack the Giant Killer”, he found moderate success and a couple failures, but it was mostly due to people believing he couldn’t be very lethal due to his small size…which changed when Bluebeard found him, having been in a situation where he needed someone murdered, but the only real weakness in their fortified home required someone very small…he figured Jack would probably die after the hit was done but was wrong because Jack not only killed the target but literally slaughtered EVERYONE in the house with his blades…Bluebeard took a shining to the little mouse and offered him a retainer and loan to develop his skills.
And over the course of a decade or so, Jack became Bluebeard’s best assassin, and a finely honed killer who took out everyone he sent him after, an adrenaline addicted fiend who wanted to kill giants forever and ever, and with Bluebeard covering for him, nobody could arrest him because only a few people even knew of him!
Until Rod Garth came over to defeat his boss, and delivered Jack his first, solid defeat, humiliating Jack greatly and FINALLY getting him arrested.
He was immensely ticked to say the least, never had any giant been able to really stop him, and here this dumbass gator did! He vowed to get out of prison one day and kill him for good, along with any giant he could…something that caught the attention of Joshua Sanchez, who got him broke out of prison in return for being kept on a retainer, something the mouse readily agreed to, in addition to requesting the means to build a new suit he designed that was quite superior to the original.
Since then, Jack hasn’t experienced as much success (since now his killing methods have been documented and thus monster hunters know to watch out for him), but ironically makes even more business than before, since his defeat caused him to enter the limelight of the underworld, his new suit and proven killing skills didn’t hurt neither, and he has fought numerous people, including some of Hetelville’s premier adventurers and monster hunters, he also was part of a supervillainous Death Squad hired to kill the superhero group Pendulum.
Currently however, on Sanchez’s orders he has been put in another Hetelville prison…this however he is cool with, because of just why Sanchez asked him to stay there…
Personality and mannerisms: Jack the Giant Killer is not known for his peaceful temperament…or his sanity for that matter.
He is known most for possessing a massive love of killing and spilling blood, it is telling that his preferred tactic for killing people is usually to zip around them in his gear and just cut them many, many times until they are dead, it’s not purely a desire for murder but also a lust for actual combat that fuels him.
What makes him a bit more unique than your average psychopath is that due to his small size and bullying he’s experienced, he is immensely scared of things that are bigger than he is…fear that generally turns to hatred as a method of dealing with it, which leads to his over obsessive hatred of ‘giants’ and his specific specialization in killing them. Giant in this case being anything that’s taller than about a foot and a half (or half a meter if you use metrics).
His hatred of giants is incredibly obsessive, like Ahab’s obsession with Moby Dick, and he’ll often talk about killing them…and usually in angry, hissing, spitting rants.
He is passionate about what he does to the extreme, and is usually yelling and bellowing at the top of his lungs whenever he isn’t using stealth, and when he is using stealth he’ll be unusually quiet when carrying out his work.
This hatred also extends to being downright paranoid of giants, sometimes being personally convinced they generally want to squish him, even when one is paying him to murder one. However, in spite of this attitude, he actually gets along with a few ‘giants’ pretty well, especially Bluebeard (one of the few friends he actually has, size be damned) and also Joshua Sanchez to a lesser extent (since he provided him with the capital to build his new suit, he’s unusually civil towards him…he despises Andre Le Pein however for no real reason).
His downright deranged attitude and hatred of larger beings also tends to make it less clear that in spite of being primarily an assassin, he’s also designed and built the suit he uses himself, he may be crazy but he’s certainly not stupid…he can get very overconfident however, which can be used to make him slip up and get his ass kicked.
As far as women are concerned, he’ll only show interest in women who’re about the same size he is, smaller, or just slightly taller than him (like by an inch or two, but nothing more than that).
He also does have interest in things outside violence and his hatred of giants, specifically hang gliding, bungee jumping and carving furniture for his house. His preferred foods happen to be milk, peanut butter, tomatoes and chicken.
Powers, skills, and equipment: Jack the Giant Killer’s killing skills are both great and notably ballsy due to how he prefers going after people who’re giants compared to him, and unlike most sentient creatures under a foot tall, he loves to kill in close quarters.
This is accomplished by means of an energetic, acrobatic fighting style, skill with a pair of dual blades, and a special suit that makes him easily capable of maneuvering around his foes and almost flying, it’s kinda similar to how Spiderman moves around, or like the Survey Corps from Attack on Titan, but noticeably different in other ways.
His original suit didn’t augment any physical strength or speed, but simply used a pair of harpoon cable launchers mounted on the sides in conjunction with some aiming mechanisms located in the hand grips of his swords, in addition to gear placed on his feet and in his shoes, despite this, they could yank him through the air at great speed, preventing him from easily being killed, with how fast they worked and his own natural speed, he was an effective killer.
After he was defeated by Rod however, he realized later that Rod wasn’t just a skilled fighter (for a giant) but that his gear was not as maneuverable as he’d previously thought, and that these flaws were how Rod beat him, so in light of this he used money of Sanchez’s to develop a better suit that was much easier to move around in, and made him a much better fighter. The new suit still had the harpoons but they weren’t designed to throw him around the battlefield, this time they were made to just hook right on to an opponent’s flesh and hold on so he can reel himself in. The real advantage of his suit are electronic additions that make him twice as fast as before, and jump about up to four feet in a bound, it also somewhat doubles as body armor, so it’s easier for him to take a punch…not too much easier, but it’s somewhat harder for him to be beaten, he also has Gecko tape based nanofibers that let him scale just about anything.
The real maneuverable advantage of the suit are some repulsive jets located in the heels of his feet, the front of his chest and the sides of his torso, derived from power armor and jet boot technologies, they essentially are like retro rockets he can periodically release to launch himself about a foot or two in a single blast, and very quickly, as a result he can quickly maneuver through the air like he never could before. His suit has a stealth mode that simply allows him to cover up the glowing ports that the thrusts come from, due to how they glow, however when stealth mode is on he can’t use that part of the suit.
The problem with this however is that he designed his suit and weapons purely to fight ‘giants’ aside from escape methods, it’s almost useless in fighting people closer to his own size, and actually is useless in directly fighting stuff smaller than him.
Other equipment he uses are the aforementioned swords, which have cutless handguards and despite being very small are like normal sized swords to him, and also are very deadly in his hands, he’s a highly talented swordfighter, he’s actually only reasonably skilled in outright dueling though, but he’s extremely deadly in fighting ‘giants’ and talented in using his swords in cutting and ripping flesh, in fact his fighting style is primarily based around acrobatic dodging and leaping around, while at the same time using his skill, momentum and sharp blades to cut people and bleed them to death, sometimes it’s quick, sometimes it takes a while, but it’s deadly either way. His only other piece of equipment happens to be his goggles, which he keeps to keep his eyes protected from the speeds he tends to travel at, they also are equipped with a heat sensing setting that helps him when enemies are hiding from him.
In addition to his phenomenal fighting skill, he is also a pretty talented engineer, and in pretty good shape, possessing great physical fitness for his size, as his fighting style indicates he’s also fairly skilled in gymnastics and acrobatics. He’s capable of devising traps as well, but primarily relies on cutting his enemies to ribbons.
His primary weaknesses happen to be that he can still be tricked into getting overconfident and getting into a position that makes him more vulnerable to attack, the fact that due to his small size the only reason his fighting style works is because of his speed (which means that any strong blow could take him out of a fight quickly, you just have to hit him first) and because his original suit and his fighting style rely just as heavily on surprise as speed, when he was captured his fighting style was thoroughly documented and as such any monster hunters who know who he is are able to adapt to fighting him easily enough, because of this he has been beaten more frequently since his first defeat, but not because he became weaker, simply because knowledge of how to fight him has made doing so much easier.
As a humanoid mouse, he also has senses of hearing and smell much better than that of a normal human’s.
Appearance: Jack the Giant Killer is a mouse of over thirtyone years of age with brown-black fur, blue eyes, short hair, a skinny size roughly normal for that of a mouse (humanoid or otherwise), and an overbite (just the kind you normally see on an anthro mouse). He also happens to be about eight inches tall, and is mildly deranged in appearance as well, he’d actually be somewhat attractive if it wasn’t for the derangement though.
When not wearing his fighting suit, he’s usually wearing a pair of tan bermuda shorts, a brown bomber jacket and a grey t-shirt.
His fighting suit is a dark grey outfit that covers his whole body with the exception of his head, and has a pair of boots that actually attach themselves right on to the suit, becoming part of it. The suit itself resembles a cross between a jumpsuit, body armor (both combat and motocross styles of it), and a suit of ‘power armor’ to an extent, with the ports that his ‘thrusters’ have glowing green, one around his chest, one located directly opposite it on his back, one on each of his heels, and one on each side of the pods his harpoon cannons are kept in. Now on each side of his hip, the aforementioned pods are seen, they are perfectly round and have a powerful, retractable, wire equipped harpoon in each, allowing him to get dragged right towards his prey. All of the ports for the thrusters have wires that’ll lead right to the one on his chest, which is about where the core for this suit is located. On a final note, he has a matching pair of hi-tech goggles he always wears with the suit due to how fast he is when using it.
Other: Jack the Giant is influenced by the anime series Attack on Titan, in how he chooses to kill his targets (to an extent anyways) and in how his obsession with killing things that’re bigger than he is was especially envisioned as if Eren Yeager were evil…and psychotic…and also a small, humanoid mouse. He’s also loosely inspired by Graham Specter from Baccano! In terms of how his enthusiasm for killing is like his love of breaking things (about as vocal about it too). His nickname and name are obviously references to the classic fairy tale Jack the Giant Killer.
My ideal voice for him’d be that of Chris Patton, who voiced Graham Specter from Baccano! and also Greed from Fullmetal Alchemist.
