This is what my computer says. Will it work? I pulled up the defrag and it says that it didn't need it.
Oh, and my free trial ended... *sad face*

What sort of trouble are you encountering when trying to play? Is it really slow, ugly, or totally fail to run at all?
With all that you're showing right here it seems that your computer Should be able to run it. You match all the minimum system requirements that you've shown, which are:
Minimum:
1.7 GHz processor
512 MB RAM
DirectX 8 video card
Recommended:
3.0 GHz processor
1 GB RAM
DirectX 9 video card
I just wonder what video card you have as well as what Operating System you're running?

Running Windows XP and I have no clue what video card I have. Trying to asses that.
I would tell you what it looks like, but I don't have it at the moment. The bastard that sold it to me used still hasn't given me my money back, so I don't have it at the moment. I'm going to order it from Amazon this weekend after I get paid.
Thanks for your take on things!

XP, good, since I am extremely unfamiliar with Vista. As for finding out what video card you have, let me help you.
From the Start Menu click on Run. When the little Run window opens type in "dxdiag" (without quotations of course!) and a new window should pop up and gather your system information. You may take a screencap of this System tab if you want, but all I really need to know is what it says after DirectX Version. It should be 9 .... Then if you could click on the Display tab and screenshot it or just write the results for me, that would be great. Where it says Name would be the name of your graphics card. If you need clarification on any of this let me know.
Oh, this is why you were looking for a keygen? Personally I don't think a keygen would work because Valve/Steam is CRAZY about protecting their games... Unfortunately a used copy's key would not work because the person who had it before registered that key to their account. To play any of these Valve games you pretty much have to go online with Steam it seems while installing or else you CAN'T play. But you have probably discovered all of this already. Was just trying to give a bit of a better explanation, in case you never got one.

Thanks again for the help. I'm not on the desktop at the moment, but I'll get that info to you as soon as I am.
And, yeah, I've realized the sad truth is that the disks that are in my possession are useless. I'm trying to get a refund from the seller, but I might just be out 22 dollars.
Are you on AIM? I'm Drakechick04@yahoo.com.

It's no problem. I haaate seeing people have computer issues and so I try to help.
The thing that really bugs me is that he sold it USED. I mean, I can understand perhaps purchasing the game, deciding you don't want it, and then selling it off without having ever played it. That makes sense. BUT to sell it off after you've used the key... That's wrong on multiple levels! For older games it didn't matter too much but now where everything is connected to the net 24/7 and registered automatically... yeah, doesn't work quite the same.
Yup, I just added you!
