After reading up about some extinct species, saw the Thylacine or Tasmanian Tiger, and thought, y'know there's potential here. The Mawlers are bioengineered from a surviving cell culture of the now defunct species and cut with a fair bit of cybernetic supplement to fill in any aspects lost to the ages. Despite their mass-produced nature, they're quite capable though ultimately disposable. Don't quite know what I'll use them for yet but it'll hit me soon enough.
