been a while since i uploaded any music, so i'll put up a couple more takes from the album i recorded, to commemorate it being (about) a year since we recorded it.

le cigare volant was the restaurant of choice for frasier and niles crane until frasier dated the pastry chef & screwed things up. i read somewhere that "le cigare volant" means the willing cigar, one of the shows many freudian references. i don't think this is true.

i play this tune live from time to time, and giving the recording a re-listen reminds me of how i actually wrote the melody. i play it very differently now, and so it's interesting to see the progression.
