not too long ago, my class visited an animal reserve. they had families of purebred dingos bred in captivity which they hoped to use to preserve the species (alpine dingos.
i asked the keeper if they made good pets. the short answer was no. because they have a pack mentality, when they are left alone, they get up to all types of shenanigans.
but i would like one too ^^

actually dingos don't have packs... they have a family group or they go alone.
From what I've read they are good for pets with a lot of socialization and training. You need to get them when they're 6 weeks or younger though.
But maybe there's a slight difference with each type of dingo? The ones I was reading about were the desert ones.
And they aren't exported C_C
