I may not be able to undo what Moth's magic has done, but ... if you're interested, I do have an artifact that makes it possible to translate any language. I use it for communication in other worlds, countries, etc. I may be able to use it so you can be understood properly. It may not restore your voice, but at least you'll be heard.

Not even I know the kind of favors & work he is doing. This is me speculating, but perhaps he's being asked, or forced, to do some unfavorable things to pay off the debt, and he doesn't want you involved with having to do those things, or is worried you might get hurt? Would that change your wish to help?

Don't get me wrong Lester is a fine man who made a rather large mistake, but you seem to have born the brunt of said mistake, and it is more than understandable that you would be upset
