She so pretteh! Just wish she wasn't so FRAGILE. *sighs* As I'd mentioned in the previous pic of this, I had to have a jeweler stitch this poor lady back together with a laser... but she looks so goooood.

Yeah- my work kept breaking because we didn't know before-hand that the instructions given with the clay were drek. Any piece I'm doing from now on gets fired at the highest temp given for twice as long, like the experts reccomend (I went and did more research) in order to "sinter" the silver particles more solidly together for a stronger bond.

I'd suggest going to a jeweler who is more experienced than I am... Heh. But sculpting one wouldn't be all that hard.

I had some fun making her mane and the like. That is a real sapphire as her eye- but it's lab-grown, so it was pretty cheap. I used a lab-grown stone because they survive the heat of a kiln much better than a real, cut-from-a-vein one would.
