From the archives of Time Magazine:

In a historic meeting, Harry S. Truman, presidential successor to Franklin Delano Roosevelt, met with the leader of the Soviet Union, Josef Stalin, today to discuss the problems posed by the "Tyrant" monster, as well as what their combined efforts could do about this threat.

This meeting has occurred just two days after the vile monster's sudden attack on an American naval convoy, following it's devastating assault against the Nazi powers in Berlin.
