Hehehehe.. I hadn't really fleshed out the background story, but I had a few notions, that I mentioned in the final version ( http://www.furaffinity.net/view/24511161/ ) . But I rather liked the idea of 'Raf as a kind of occult based hacker, working Garr to track down a scattered signal of unknown origin, that's brokenly repeating through the data structures of fringe cities. hence 'Raf's modified parasol, I kinda pictured him wandering the city, and it's datascape, with it passively gathering data for processing later with his partner (who's off gather information by otter means)
