I decided to go back to my roots and make a sea shard pendant! When I was a little kid my grandmother took me to walk along the beach along Narragansett Bay and showed me pieces of broken china in the sand. She told me they were sea shards, shards from the ocean. During the multiple hurricanes that hit the Rhode Island coast during the early 20th century the fancy seaside homes were all swept out to sea, their china collections and tile from their baths along with them. To this day they wash up and I keep collecting them!
