I won't know what I am doing for certain until end of August. Between now and then I have to keep my nose to the grindstone, so to speak.

*grins* Thanks so much! Three weeks of insanity for me, but I got 'er done! *giggles* Between glitches like running out of fabric for one part of the costume (the hanging parts of the sleeves had to be resized and the orginal lining was going to be the pale blue stuff you see in my underskirt and Kani's leggings), sewing-machine troubles- on two different machines, the torcs breaking and having to be repaired (our silver and gold arm-bands)... I swear, the Gods were makin' me WORK for this.

lol well they are stunning and make me jealous ^.^ normal white dresses don't always cut it for me. they always say that nothing worth having is easy, but I'm glad you guys got through it

That might be one way to look at it. certainly. I know that I feel a bit like the Gods were making me WORK for it. Heh... I always found white wedding-dresses incredibly boring, myself.

Yeah, besides how many people can really wear a white wedding dress anymore X3 (not that many people know what that means nowadays) Anyways, I'm glad it turned out how you wanted it to in the end and that you two are married, which is the point right ^.^

Indeed! I never really liked white wedding-dresses, anyway. That whole declaration of one's virgin stauts is so passe. Besides, I liked the older tradition of dressing in deep blue, and I just happened to have a lot of gorgeous fabric in precisely that colour!

TAHOE! *pounces and hugs you* Hi- been a while, hon! And thank you! *grins* Yup, we finally did it- I moved down to California with all my stuff, worked like a slave in a salt-mine to finish our finery, worked with a very patient priestess and an accommodating SeHT for the ceremonies, banged my head against walls trying to figure out why my metal-wark was breaking (found out why- metal clay has issues with brittleness that's only corrected by longer firing times in the kiln) and I was nearly at my wit's end by the time Sunday rolled around. O___o

But, as you can see, no flaw so big that anyone could notice, and for me, that's just good enough!

And that icon of yours always makes me collapse in giggles- talk about the ultimate audiophile head gear!

Looks like you two had an amazing wedding and yes I do agree your outfits do look awesome. First time i've seen a wedding this unique. (though I don't go and look up weddings either c.c) The cake was cute (and not a lie!) and in every picture looks like you two were in heaven (despite the heat).

Roasted wasn't that big a possibility, since we were in the shade of the grape arbour a lot ofthe time, which was nice. and I like mead far too much NOT to drink far too much. *giggles* I was tipsy, but I kept my indulgance to a level where other folks could at least sample the stuff- we only had four bottles anyway. :)

I miss being able to tie one on from time-to-time but I don't mind being the designated driver if I do go out where there is a lot of potent potables.

I'm sober most of the time now that I've had my meds reduced again *sigh*
At this rate I'll be med free in less than a year with only my hormone replacement for my missing thyroid and something for the nerve damage Woo-Whoo!

ONLY 4 BOTTLES! For a wedding! You tease!

Four bottles of MEAD. We had eight of white and red wines, eight bottles of champagne and two big cases of beer. *giggles* I just didn't drink as much of that stuff as I did the mead. I just really, really like mead. Rawr.

Mead is heartburning good stuff depending on how it's made and who makes it

Chaucer's makes a good wine-like mead, but gently sweet, and Danish Delight (hope they're still around) makes a wonderfully-thick mead that just tastes gorgeous. It actually clings to the glass, it's so high in sugar, but wow, what a flavour.
