We only wore our heads briefly after the ceremonies were done- too frakkin' HOT to wear them for any longer than that. But the ceremony was gorgeous, our outfits were gorgeous, the cake was... you get the idea. There was a lovely grape arbour in the yard, and we held the ceremonies under it. :)

Thanks, sweety! Three weeks of fussing and sweating to get our finery made in time... Argh... But I'm glad I decided to be so control-freak- I've never been married before, and I wanted this to be special. Kani has given me so much and all I have to give him are my skills and creativity (and my love, of course), so I wanted to show that I could put something worthwhile into our relationship, too.
Awww... It was a bummer that more folks couldn't show- they had similar problems, or they were working, or whichever. Most just couldn't afford to travel (the ones on the east coast or in other countries). We'll definitely be wearing these outfits to Cons and stuff, so folks can see them up close.
You'll definitely be seeing us at the PS nights- you'll get to have a look at our wedding rings and the torcs, at least, since we wear those all the time. The outfits will show up at Cons and other special events. Maybe we'll bring our finery and our heads to wander about the Skiltaire in for a while.
*giggles* Well, they never got out of the pattern-stage. I was going to make them out of soft leather and the same silk as our outfits, but I ran out of time. I'll make them eventually- I have all the materials, a good couple of sewing machines and a demented mind willing to put them together. :D
Lots of time, patience and knowing what insanity can be perpetrated with your materials. *grins* I make lots of crazy stuff like this. I'm hoping to make it in the fursuit-building and costuming business, but I also design clothes, jewelry and I even write, and play music (voice and drum). Who sez I have to make a living as a kitchen drudge when I can make someone's clothes for them? Or fursuits?
Maybe my text looks German because there are many German-speaking people near my hometown in Winnipeg? I also have strange speech-patterns by English standards. I could maybe make a fursuit for you, but I must tell you, I am inexperienced at it and I might make mistakes. I am not sure I understood your last three sentences, sorry.
That is the damn cutest dragon wedding I've seen in a long time! Um, oh right, guess there's not many on my list. ;) So let's see now, may you find many long years of the happiness you both deserve? May? Of course you will! Ok, sorry for the late thumbs-up but I've been having system kafuffles and all that, and I wanted to be in cognizant enough shape to use the word cognizant properly. At the small gallery here they're looking for appropriate "love" kind of pictures right now and someone suggested that this fit the bill. Knowing sweet ef ay about this curious hormonal imbalance I politely agreed. But it's up to you, please have a dig through the pics, find a few faves and I'll send you the full files ok? Please DO do this though as I'm insistent on giving you something and that's what I've got for currency.
Thanks so much for the well-wishings, hon! *huggles you gently* Wowwwww... You'd send me some of your images? Dang, too many gorgeous things to choose from! O___O I'll certainly have a look-see- it's been a while since I've looked over anybody's work, lately. *hangs head in shame* And maybe I should give my brain a shake and see what images speak "love" to me so you have some suggestions for that gallery- and may you make many a sale there!
I'm in yer gallereez, raidin' yer pix- these are the ones that stand out to me, and the ones that might look awesome on a gallery wall (in my opinion, which could be worthless). I'll tag the ones that I would love copies of with one of these---> and ones that stop my heart will get these---> in addition.

There you go- took me a while to comb though your gallery, and there were still images that could go to a showing and find favourable welcomes! I just picked the ones that grabbed my eye, and well, my taste may be nothing like that of a seasoned gallery-owner. Can't seem to find any that suggest "love" to me, though, sorry. Your stuff is rather abstract on occasion, and that's more analytical, than emotional, and the pieces that I'd term "meditational" are emotional, but not that kind. Ok, looks like five pix for me, possibly. Erf- how to narrow it down by two so I don't appear greedy...? Argh. Anyway, I'm sure you get the idea where my eyeballs tend to go: simplicity and COLOUR! *grins* As I'm not sure how big these files are, lemme know how you plan to send 'em? I know Hotmail can carry up to ten Mb, but that's it.
*huggles you, grateful that you'd want to send a gift at all, and your art is beautiful* Pfehh, money- your photos are lovely and a thoughful gift by any description!

Hey, thanks so much for going through the gallery, the times there shows you was at it! There's nothing more valuable and precious than time, one of the things we're always spending, but can never ever buy. Truly!
Um, quick note, you said something about being fat? Um, LIAR! (!!!) That's ok, I can forgive the occasional lie.
I find it strange that anyone would find a romantic feel to any of my pics, except for that Topaz one, which um yah, maybe. Yeah, a lot of abstract but with form and flow. I love examining the small and the ability the camera has to show us these things. Cross-over to the ancient toony world of the small? Nah, just... visually interesting changing the scale. I've finally got all my workflow doing Adobe throughout finally. Heh, just installed CS4 the BIG 8G version tonight. *grin* Yes, I'm rich and can afford such things. *wink* So now I've got the time-consuming task of REDOING ALL my post-prod on ALL my pics, be totally nazi perfectionist PRICK the whole time. Here's a subject and scene that should actually sell, I've noticed local landmarks are very popular. Yah, it's definitely first-run beta and I see where everything got mashed in the blending. BUT, potential, and when I'm in town I'll be redoing these of course.

Aaaah! And 5:00 am rolls around, two things, clouds all over the place so I don't have to go out this morning, however, store is only open from 9 to 1 and since I'm running on credit (yah, this early in the month! Oi!) it's where I gots to go for milk. So, signing off for now and I'll have to run through that list tomorrow, should already have some of those online, statistical odds being what they is.
Later!

You're welcome! I hope my selections will hit some "aHA!" button inside.
And it's no lie- I am fat. I'm a short (5' 3") person with a medium to heavy frame (for a girl, anyway), and I weigh 214 lb when I should weigh no more than 140 lbs. My saving grace with the mass is that I'm lucky to have it arranged in such a way that I can carry it well- I'm curvey, not lumpy. And being sneaky with how I design my clothes can cover quite a bit.
Some of your landscape pix are gorgeous- you pick the right times, hit it with the sturation to bring up the colours you never see in the camera but only with your own eyes and morning or evening light does some wonderful things... I'm'a go and look through the links nao.

Some of those are really lovely and I can easily see them as large pieces displayed somewhere... As for black mattes- yes, they're simple, but I'm likely to try matting them in a dominant colour so the image isn't overshadowed by the dark matte. Are you actually asking me to try and sell these for you in galleries here? I can give that a shot, but I don't travel a round a lot (I don't know how to drive, yet- yeah, I'm a failure as a 21st-Cent being. ), so I'm not sure how fast a return you'll get. I can certainly see about printing some up and matting them attractively and have them at my table at Cons (the next Con I'll be going to will likely be next Further Confusion).
You do what you can or will with those, and you know I'm not nearly as interested in a few bucks as I'm interested in getting my work out there! I'm sure you'll have fun showing em off too. I'm not worried about em getting around, a bit unlikely and hey, it's not like those are the only ones I'm ever gonna get! Woot! More on the way in other words. I wish I'd been more um, uniform on the color profiles but basically if you see something that's sRGB it's probably been converted to that from Adobe98 and so the colors should be correct, as seen. That one pano, the Feb-08 one, what a kicker eh! Oi, DETAIL! Lovely sweet sweet tangerines. That one needs to be printed a bit big. I haven't done any printing since oh shit, early spring when I dropped $380 (!!!) on 6x8s, almost 2/3 of what I get in a month! Beans and rice, beans and rice! *grin*
*hugs you both* Congrats to both of you on this monumental step forward ^..^ I sure hope things stay good and happy between you two and you live a long and fruitful marriage ^..^ Also send me a quote on how much a small (under 2ft) plushie of argy in her dragon form and me in my naga form might cost me, so we both will have the other to snuggle at all times ^..^
